Nolan Arenado Resting Against Twins
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado is taking Thursday's game off against the visiting Minnesota Twins. With Arenado riding pine, rookie outfielder Jordan Walker will bat in the cleanup spot for the Cardinals against Twins right-hander Sonny Gray. Taylor Motter is at third base and is batting in the nine-hole. It's a normal day of rest for Arenado, who should be right back in the starting lineup for the start of a series on Friday against the visiting Colorado Rockies. Arenado is a must-start in fantasy when he's playing, but he's gone 3-for-26 with no homers, a double, one RBI and one run scored in his last seven games. Walker has also been cold in his last seven games with four hits in 21 at-bats.
