6 months agoCincinnati Reds infielder Noelvi Marte, who is currently serving an 80-game suspension for violating the league's drug-prevention policy, is scheduled to start a minor-league rehab assignment on Tuesday, June 11, and manager David Bell said Marte will mostly play third base while also seeing some time at second base and shortstop. The 22-year-old is most likely to spend his rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville. He will be eligible to return from his suspension on June 27 and should be scooped up in fantasy leagues now if he's available on the waiver wire. The Dominican infielder impressed in his major-league debut last year with a .316/.366/.456 slash line and an .822 OPS, three homers, 15 RBI and six stolen bases in 35 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
