6 months agoThe Cincinnati Reds sent infielder Noelvi Marte to a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday. Marte, the Reds' No. 2 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, is serving the last of an 80-game suspension in March for testing positive for the performance-enhancing substance Boldenone. The 22-year-old slashed .316/.366/.456 with a .822 OPS with three homers, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored, and six stolen bases in 35 games with the Reds last season. He is eligible to return from suspension on June 27. Few young talents in the game have as much upside as Marte, so fantasy managers should look to add him to their rosters before his arrival, which will likely be in July.--Brandon Williams - RotoBaller
