Noel Cuevas To Injured List, Yonathan Daza Recalled
6 years agoThe Colorado Rockies have made a pair of moves Tuesday to adjust their roster due to an injury. Outfielder Noel Cuevas, who was recently promoted from Triple-A Albuquerque, suffered a strained left quadriceps and has gone on the injured list. The 27-year-old appeared in 75 games last season, hitting .233. As a result, Yonathan Daza has been recalled after he was originally sent down in place of Cuevas. Daza is a career .310 hitter in the minor leagues, having hit .306 with 29 RBI in a 54-game Double-A stint last season. He'll strictly be outfield depth in the majors for Colorado.
