Noah Syndergaard Strikes Out 11 In Possible Last Mets Start
The New York Mets might still trade away pitcher Noah Syndergaard, and if they do, he went out on top. The 26-year-old struck out 11, surrendered five hits, no earned runs and walked just one batter in 7 1/3 innings of work. He tossed 97 pitches in one of his better starts this season. While rumors have been swirling of a possible trade from the Mets, Syndergaard's chances of remaining on the club appear more likely than not. The trade deadline is merely hours away.
