Noah Syndergaard On His Way To Bounce-Back Season?
5 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2019, posting a 95 ERA+ and leading the National League in earned runs allowed. Syndergaard's fastball-slider combination can be among the deadliest in the majors, but he also allowed a career-high 24 home runs in his 32 starts last season. The good news is that he's working with a new pitching coach in 2020 and has fanned 11 hitters and allowed three runs in eight innings so far in spring training. It's a small sample size, but Thor has the ability to be a top-20 fantasy hurler with the stuff that he has. He's currently being drafted, on average, with pick No. 65.4 in fantasy drafts.
