Noah Syndergaard Notches Tough-Luck Loss Sunday
6 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard had some bad luck on Sunday against the Miami Marlins. Syndergaard tossed seven innings of two-run ball, giving up five hits while striking out three in a loss. It was an odd start for the ace, who struggled to accrue many strikeouts, but he was efficient nonetheless. The Mets failed to provide their pitcher with any run support, dropping his record to 3-4 on the season. Syndergaard will take a 4.50 ERA into his next start against the Detroit Tigers at home.
