Noah Syndergaard Hit By Liner Saturday
6 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (side) left his start early on Saturday after he was hit by a line drive in the right side. Syndergaard allowed 12 hits and four runs while walking five and striking out four in 6 2/3 innings against the Phillies in this one before getting injured. We'll have to wait and see what the Mets say about the extent of his injury, but it didn't look good. Thor has a 3.44 ERA and 9.26 K/9 over 21 starts for the Mets this year and is a must-start in fantasy leagues. Depending on the extent of his injury, he could be in danger of being shut down for the rest of the year. Stay tuned.
