No Setbacks For Mike Foltynewicz
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz hasn't thrown off a mound since experiencing right elbow soreness after he finished two innings in his Feb. 24 spring debut against the Astros, but he hasn't had any setbacks since being cleared to play catch last week. However, because of his lack of activity the last two weeks, there's concern that he might miss more than one start to begin the regular season. Atlanta is being extra cautious with their All-Star right-hander. The 27-year-old had a breakout season in 2018 (2.85 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 9.9 K%) and might still be overvalued in mixed leagues.
