No Serious Damage For Mark Canha
6 years agoOakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin said that outfielder/first baseman Mark Canha doesn't have any serious damage in his right wrist. He received a cortisone injection and shouldn't have to miss much time. Canha was placed on the injured list and is hitting only .200 (8-for-40) with two home runs and four RBI on the season. He had been platooning at first with Kendrys Morales and wasn't much of a fantasy option, even in AL-only leagues. He'll be more of a bench player whenever Matt Olson (hand) returns.
