Niko Goodrum Hits His First Home Run Since May 1

Detroit Tigers utility man Niko Goodrum broke a long home run drought in Monday's 10-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. Goodrum went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. The home run was his fifth of the year, but his first since May 1, despite playing just about every day since then. Goodrum has been a great asset for stolen bases this year. He has 11 stolen bases over 55 games. However, he's yet to provide much help elsewhere, slashing .208/.286/.322 on the year. He's worth a roster spot in most AL-only leagues and deep leagues due to his stolen base prowess. Hopefully, Monday's strong game can help him get his power bat going.
