Niko Goodrum Dealing With Sore Calf
6 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Niko Goodrum didn't start on Tuesday against the Yankees due to a sore right calf, but the injury isn't serious and he even appeared later in the game and drew a walk off Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman and scored on a double. Goodrum is a utility man for the Tigers and has already played center field, first base and second base in 2019. The 27-year-old has four hits in 16 at-bats (.250) with three runs scored in the early going. He's mostly useful in fantasy in deeper leagues for his roster flexibility.
