Nikita Kucherov Picks Up Five Points In Saturday's Win
6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov had an extraordinary game on Saturday against the Oilers, posting his first career five-point performance in a 6-3 win. Connor McDavid had three assists, but all the talk is about Kucherov after the game. He scored an unassisted goal and dished out four assists in what was the 12th time a Bolts player registered five or more points in a single game. Steven Stamkos and Tyler Johnson also had great nights, contributing with two goals. Kucherov is closing in fast on Mikko Rantanen on top of the league's scoring charts. He now trails the Colorado ace by only two points.
