Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point combined four goals and eight points in Monday's 5-1 road victory at Columbus, with the Russian becoming the first player in franchise history to post three outings with four-plus points in a four-game span. He's recorded a ridiculous seven goals and 18 points in the last five games. Point hasn't done badly either, collecting 11 points. Kucherov has taken a commanding lead in the league's scoring race and he's already set to pass the 100-point plateau. He gets the first chance to chase his 100th point on Tuesday vs. Philadelphia against whom he has six points in two games already this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point scored twice and added a helper during their 5-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Monday evening. Point would tally the primary helper on Nikita Kucherov's opening power-play goal in the opening frame. Later in the frame, Point would score his first goal, on the power play as well. In the third period, Point would finish his evening with his second power-play goal. Over his previous nine contests, Point has been very productive on the scoresheet, scoring nine goals and adding four helpers. This is an excellent sign, as prior to this recent surge, Point tallied just one helper over his last six contests. Through 72 games this season, the 29-year-old has found the back of the net 41 times and added 38 helpers. He will look to stay hot on Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point led the way during their 5-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Thursday evening as he tallied three points. In the opening frame, Point tallied the primary assist on Jake Guentzel's power-play goal. Then, in the third, Point would find the back of the net on a wrist shot and add another primary assist, this time on Nick Paul's empty-netter. The 28-year-old also tallied five shots on goal, three hits, and one blocked shot in this contest. This was his first multi-point showing since December 28. Over his previous 10 games entering Thursday, Point tallied six points (three goals, three helpers). Overall, Point has tallied 56 points in 48 games and remains a must-start player in all formats, given his role in the Tampa Bay offense.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point recorded his second career four-assist game in Thursday's 8-1 win over San Jose. He helped set up a power-play goal for Jake Guentzel and notched three even-strength assists as Anthony Cirelli, Nick Perbix, and Nicholas Paul found the back of the net. Point became the fifth player in franchise history with multiple four-assist games. The Lightning star has mostly done his scoring via goals this season, lighting the lamp 16 times, which puts him tied for third on the league's goal-scoring charts. Strangely, Point didn't have a single assist in nine November outings. He's managed 25 points (16 goals, nine assists) in 20 games over the course of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
