Miami Marlins pitcher Nick Neidert pitched well on Thursday in a Grapefruit League game against the Washington Nationals. Neidert was scheduled to pitch four innings in relief and did just that, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out five. Neidert seems like he'll end up in second place in the competition for the fifth spot in the Marlins starting rotation. Whether he ends up in the big league bullpen or the Triple-A rotation will be determined next week. Neidert should have a solid big league career as a back-end starter, but his fantasy value will likely be limited to deeper leagues.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
