Nick Mullens Shouldn't Be Trusted In Week 10
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens has performed adequately in relief of Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) this season. Apart from a dreadful game against the Philadelphia Eagles where he saw himself benched, he's generally been able to keep the 49ers offense functioning capably. However, the fantasy returns haven't been very significant. He's only managed to throw for multiple touchdowns in one of his four starts. This week, as the 49ers face the New Orleans Saints, Mullens will have a short-handed supporting cast. Deebo Samuel (hamstring) seems to be trending towards missing the game and the team will also likely be without top running backs Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (knee). Mullens should be avoided as a fantasy starter in all leagues in Week 10.
