Nick Lodolo Activated Ahead Of Tuesday's Start
2 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds have activated left-hander Nick Lodolo (back) from the 60-day injured list. He will be the team's starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the New York Mets. Lodolo landed on the injured list in late April due to a lower back strain. He made three starts prior to the injury and went 1-2 with a 5.52 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP. The 24-year-old rookie performed well in his rehab outings. In his final tuneup at Triple-A last Wednesday, he pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed six hits, one walk and one earned run while striking out five. He's too risky to trust as a fantasy option right now, but he's certainly someone worth monitoring as he's one of the top pitching prospects in the Reds' organization.
