Nick Foles Leads His Team to a Win Despite Not Doing Much
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, starting in place of the injured Carson Wentz (knee), led his team to a win on Thursday night despite not putting up impressive numbers at all. Foles completed 19-of-34 passes for just 117 scoreless yards. He also threw an interception, but the Eagles ultimately won 18-12. Foles was very much a game manager in this one, letting the running game do most of the damage. With the news that Wentz might miss a few more games surfacing, Foles will likely start for the rest of September. He'll keep the Eagles afloat, but he's not a recommended fantasy option.
