Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins is still experiencing concussion symptoms and has yet to resume skating, according to head coach Paul Maurice. Cousins was injured when he was slammed into the boards by Coyotes forward Jason Zucker in a game on Jan. 2. The hit by Zucker came in retaliation to a dangerous hit Cousins laid on Coyotes defenseman Juuso Valimaki moments earlier while Cousins has also come under fire for hitting Blue Jackets defenseman Erik Gudbranson from behind earlier in the season. The 30-year-old bottom-sox forward has tallied two goals and five points across 37 games on the season, his second with the Panthers following stints with the Flyers, Coyotes, Canadiens, Golden Knights, and Predators.--Brenton Kemp
