Nick Cousins Expected To Return Tuesday
9 months agoFlorida Panthers forward Nick Cousins (concussion) is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday to take on the visiting Philadelphia Flyers. The veteran suffered a concussion in a Jan. 2 game against the Arizona Coyotes on a hit from Jason Zucker. Zucker was suspended for three games for the retaliatory hit after Cousins had slammed Coyotes blue-liner Juuso Valimaki hard into the boards. Cousins has recorded a pair of goals and five points across 37 games in a bottom-six role that has seen him average 12:43 of ice time per game this season. He also has 45 hits, 63 shots, 20 penalty minutes, and a minus-10 rating on his ledger. Cousins has tallied 66 goals and 170 points across 560 career regular-season games with the Flyers, Coyotes, Canadiens, Golden Knights, Predators, and Panthers.
