The NFL and NFL Players Association adopted the new CDC guidelines that reduce the quarantine time to five days from 10 days for all COVID-19-positive players who are asymptomatic, including those that are unvaccinated, according to sources. The NFL has endured a huge COVID surge in the last few weeks and have already altered their testing procedures, eliminating weekly testing for vaccinated players and focusing only on those who have symptoms. Still, a record 106 players tested positive on Monday. Since Dec. 13, around 475 players have tested positive for the virus.
