Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz had to leave Friday's game against the Texas Rangers with discomfort in his right heel. He injured the heel while running the bases and was replaced by Miguel Sano as a pinch-hitter in his next time up. The Twins called the early exit precautionary, so there's hope that the injury will not be a serious one. With the All-Star break coming up after Sunday's games, there's a chance the team chooses to rest Cruz over the weekend but he should be fine to resume playing after the All-Star game.--Matt Terelle
