2 years agoAfter failing to get on base in the first two games of their series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals designated hitter Nelson Cruz collected two hits in the team's 8-7 win Wednesday afternoon. It's been a mediocre month for Cruz after such a stellar May. After slashing .318/.379/.459 in May, Cruz came back down to Earth in June, slashing .258/.343./452. Until the power numbers pick up again, Cruz is a risky play in standard leagues.--JasonHirsch
