Nationals Want To Re-Sign Stephen Strasburg
5 years agoThe Washington Nationals want to re-sign starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg after he opted out of the final four years and $100 million of his contract. The word is that Washington is willing to give the right-hander a nice annual raise from $25 million per season. The sticking point could be the years, but the two sides are expected to begin working on it right away. It's no shock that the Nats want to bring the World Series MVP back after he just dominated in both the regular season and the postseason. When healthy, Stras is one of the top pitchers in both real life and fantasy. He'll be an upper-echelon fantasy starter whether he stays in D.C. or not.
