Nathan Eovaldi Strong Tuesday Versus Washington
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi took a no-hitter into the sixth inning Tuesday. He would end up going six scoreless innings, allowing only one hit while earning the win. He even recorded nine strikeouts. Eovaldi owners are relieved to see this after the previous outing saw him hurt by four home runs. He has started to re-establish himself after missing significant time from Tommy John surgery and then a surgery at the beginning of this season. Eovaldi can reach up to 100 mph with his fastball and has reportedly used all this time off to pick up hints on pitching. He is not a shallow league target but he has the potential to work his way into being a deep league option, especially in AL-only leagues.
