Nathan Eovaldi Roughed Up Friday Versus Minnesota
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi had a tough outing Friday versus the Twins. A start after dominating the Mets, Eovaldi was knocked out early. He lasted 2 2/3 innings allowing eight runs and took the loss. He is likely to be a trade target given his low salary and the fact that he is due to be a free agent after the season. If he were to be moved Eovaldi's value would likely increase as he would be in line for a higher win potential. He has shown that he is recovered from his injuries, including two starts where he did not allow a hit in the first six innings. Keep an eye out to see what team gets him since it will go a long way towards determining his value.
