Nasim Nunez Wins Futures Game MVP Award
1 year agoMiami Marlins infield prospect Nasim Nunez won the Futures Game MVP award. The infielder supplied most of the NL's scoring in the MLB Futures game, driving in three runs off a bases-clearing double. The 2019 second-round pick is struggling with Double-A Pensacola this season, slashing .211/.330/.289 with four home runs, 31 RBI, and 47 runs in 76 games. The 22-year-old possesses elite speed, with 33 stolen bases this season. His hitting struggles leave him out of the mix in most dynasty leagues, but his elite speed makes him someone to follow.
