Myles Turner Sprains His Ankle

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner (ankle) didn't suit up for the season-opener against the Washington Wizards. The 26-year-old was slotted to play on Wednesday. However, he sprained his left ankle during pre-game warm-ups after landing on a ball boy's foot. This is an unfortunate blow for Turner, who missed the final 38 games of the 2021-22 campaign due to a stress fracture in his foot. As a result, there's a chance he will at least be sidelined for Friday's game versus the San Antonio Spurs. If that's the case, Terry Taylor may continue to run with the starting unit.
