Myles Turner Leads Team In Scoring, Adds Three Blocks
4 years agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner provided a team-high 15 points in Wednesday's 92-87 loss to Miami. The Pacers shot just 40 percent from the field in the slow-burning game and Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon ended up combining for only 16 points. Turner also had six rebounds and three blocks while shooting 6-for-9 from the field and dropping three three-point bombs with six attempts. The 25-year-old has been a beast defensively all year and he even had a seven-block game in March. It's a completely different story at the other end of the floor, as he simply doesn't get enough touches to be a consistent offensive performer. Turner will have a third meeting of the season with the Hornets next, against whom he has averaged 14 points, six rebounds and 3.5 blocks this season.
