Myles Gaskin Expected To Miss Three Games
4 years agoThe Miami Dolphins acquired running back DeAndre Washington from the Chiefs on Tuesday because Myles Gaskin (knee) is dealing with a sprained MCL and is expected to miss three games, according to a source. Gaskins suffered the injury late in the Week 8 win over the Rams. Washington still may not have much fantasy upside in his new home, but he could share an early down role with Matt Breida now that Gaskin is out for around three weeks. Jordan Howard will likely continue to be used in short-yardage situations, and Patrick Laird could also factor in. This might be a backfield to avoid until we have some more clarity, but Breida figures to be the most appealing as a Week 9 waiver-wire pickup and could have RB2 upside this weekend against the Cardinals.
