6 years agoThe Seattle Mariners placed starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc on the 10-day injured list on Sunday with a strained oblique and recalled Erik Swanson from the minors in a corresponding move. Oblique strains often require an extended absence for pitchers, so those in shallow mixed leagues should cut bait on LeBlanc. Swanson, the team's No. 9 prospect per MLB Pipeline, could see a spot start or two to replace LeBlanc in the starting rotation. Consider him an option in AL-only and deep mixed leagues if that happens. Seattle's top prospect, Justus Sheffield, will also remain an option.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
