Mookie Betts Riding Seven-Game Hitting Streak
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts went 1-for-5 with a run scored in the team's 8-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He has now recorded at least one hit and at least one run in seven consecutive games, a stretch that has also included a pair of home runs. Betts is slashing .283/.393/.435 through 13 games this month. Over his last 12 games, he's only struck out once while walking seven times. The 28-year-old has 21 home runs, nine stolen bases, 53 RBI and 83 runs over 106 games on the year. He sets the table for a scary Dodgers lineup and he should be set for another strong finish this season.
