Mookie Betts Leaves Thursday's Game Early
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder/second baseman Mookie Betts was taken out of Thursday's game against the Miami Marlins in the eighth inning after fouling a ball off his foot in his first at-bat of the game. Betts was able to play most of the game, so the move seems precautionary with the Dodgers holding a commanding 10-0 lead at the time Betts was taken out. Still, he was seen on crutches as he left the stadium, so it is a situation worth monitoring tomorrow. The MVP candidate went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base before being taken out of the game.
