Mookie Betts Hits Three-Run Homer On Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts had the team's biggest hit of the day against the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. In the eighth inning of the game, while the score was tied 6-6, Betts launched a three-run homer that would give the team a lead it wouldn't relinquish. The home run was his only hit of the day as he went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base. The 29-year-old missed some time due to injuries during the first half of the year, but he's been fantastic when he's been on the field. Across 74 games, he's slashed .265/.341/.530 while compiling 21 home runs, seven stolen bases, 50 RBI and 64 runs.
