Mohamed Sanu: Possible Late Round Target In Deep Leagues
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is entering his fourth year with the Falcons. He's caught between 59 and 67 passes each of the past three years and had a career-high 838 receiving yards last year. Sanu and Calvin Ridley are the secondary receivers to star wideout Julio Jones, but there's a lot of reason to believe Ridley will assert himself as the standalone #2 this year, relegating Sanu to #3 status. Ridley had a breakout year as a rookie last year, scoring a team-high ten receiving touchdowns and he should be a big part of the team's game-plan this year. Sanu should flirt with 60 receptions yet again this year, but his yards total will likely come back down to where he was in 2017, which was about 700 yards. In deep leagues, he's a fine target with a late-round pick, but he doesn't need to be drafted in standard-sized leagues.
