Mohamed Sanu A Risky Start In Week 3
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has nine catches on 13 targets through two games, which is encouraging to see. However, he's been primarily targeted on short-yardage plays. He has just 73 yards on those nine catches, good for only 8.1 yards per reception. Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are the big playmakers in the Falcons' passing game and that should continue to be the case as long as both are healthy. Sanu is a potential starting option in deep PPR leagues as a worst-case scenario, but it's hard to rely on him to get more than about four catches for 40 yards.
