Mo Bamba Back To Orlando On Two-Year Deal
2 years agoCenter Mo Bamba has agreed to a two-year deal worth $21 million to remain with the Orlando Magic. The 24-year-old had been drawing interest from several teams across the league, but he wound up choosing to stay with the franchise that took him sixth overall in the 2018 NBA draft. The seven-footer had his best all-around season in 2021-22, averaging 10.6 points, 8,1 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.5 three-pointers per game. He will likely serve as the team's starting center with Wendell Carter Jr. at power forward. However, we could alternatively see the team shift first overall pick Paolo Banchero into the starting five and push Carter to center and Bamba to the bench.
