Mitchell Robinson Injured Again On Thursday
12 months agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) exited Thursday's loss to Philadelphia and didn't return. He reinjured his surgically repaired left ankle, with Joel Embiid's flagrant foul potentially contributing to his premature departure. Robinson played well in Game 1, nearly amassing a double-double with four blocks. Yet, he didn't do much in Monday's win and entered Game 3 riding a questionable tag. Unfortunately, Robinson's night ended after logging 12 minutes to finish with two points and seven rebounds. With the Sixers taking back a game in this series, the teams will meet again on Sunday. However, Mitchell may not be available for that one.

Mitchell Robinson Good To Go Against Spurs
3 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks are entering a back-to-back set, and Robinson was initially uncertain for the game after being labeled as questionable on the injury report. Now that he has been upgraded to available, it's reasonable to assume that Robinson will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Since his season debut in late February, Robinson has contributed 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game. Precious Achiuwa should fill Robinson's minutes in Thursday's game.

Mitchell Robinson Out Of Action Versus Clippers
1 month agoOn Friday, New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is unavailable against the Los Angeles Clippers. Thursday night, Robinson played 13 minutes off the bench in an overtime loss to the Lakers. He recently returned to action after recovering from an off-season ankle procedure. Holding the 26-year-old out of action likely shows the Knicks' being cautious as they are on the second leg of a back-to-back set. While Robinson is sidelined, Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) will likely see an expanded role this evening if he's cleared to play.
