Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner (personal) will play in Monday's Game 1 against the Florida Panthers. Toronto didn't have its star winger available for Sunday's practice, as Marner and his wife, Stephanie, welcomed their first child. He returned to the ice for Monday's optional morning skate. In the first round against the Ottawa Senators, Marner racked up eight points (one goal, seven assists) in six games, more than doubling his postseason points tally from last year (3). The Maple Leafs need him to remain hot against the powerful Panthers. Marner, who turned 28 on Monday, amassed three points (two goals, one assist) in four regular-season meetings with Florida.

Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner amassed three points in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Ottawa Senators. He scored Toronto's second goal of the game with his only shot on target and delivered a pair of power-play assists. Marner posted his fifth career three-point postseason game, taking sole possession of the third spot on the franchise's all-time list. Only Doug Gilmour (10) and Darryl Sittler (7) have more. Since the international break, Marner has been kept off the score sheet just six times, and he should be full of confidence in the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs after recording his first career 100-point campaign. Marner led his team with 102 points (27 goals, 75 assists) in 81 games during the regular season.

Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner (lower body) will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken. The Maple Leafs will have Marner back in the mix after he was forced to miss only one game due to a lower-body injury. Marner will link up with William Nylander and John Tavares on the second line, meaning Max Domi will maintain a first-line role on Thursday. Over his last seven appearances, Marner has recorded four multi-point games, reaching 70 points for the season. The star winger has notched 16 goals and 54 assists with 122 shots on goal.

Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner (lower body) is considered day-to-day. The Maple Leafs played their first game without Marner this season on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. However, Marner is not expected to miss extended time. The team will return to action on Thursday when the Seattle Kraken visit Toronto. Max Domi was elevated to the first line on Tuesday with Marner out. He had a quiet evening with no points and zero shots on goal. Morgan Rielly was back on the first power-play unit in Marner's absence and recorded one assist with the man advantage.
