Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner (ankle) is expected to return to the lineup on Saturday in Montreal against the Canadiens. The right winger has missed the past 12 games due to a high-ankle sprain suffered in a 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on March 7, although he ended up finishing that contest. "I just want to get back, get back in the rhythm of things and try to contribute to help our team win games," Marner said on Friday. "Just getting up to game speed (is the biggest challenge) regardless of how many skates or workouts you do, It's always tough to get back into game speed, especially the game speed at the level we are at right now." The veteran has recorded 25 goals and 76 points across 62 games on the season.--Brenton KempRead More News
