Mitch Haniger Transitioning To Triple-A On Tuesday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (ankle) is having his rehab assignment moved from High-A Everett to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday. The 31-year-old played in three games at High-A this past weekend and went 3-for-6 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored. He has been out since late April due to a Grade 2 high ankle sprain, but he is getting very close to a return. There's a chance we could see the veteran back in the majors by the end of this week, assuming he can avoid any setbacks.
