Mitch Haniger Resumes Rehab

Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (back, groin) resumed his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday and went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk, two RBI and three strikeouts as the designated hitter. Haniger is back on track and should be able to join the Mariners later this month or early in September. It's been a rough year for the 28-year-old who broke out in 2018, as he's hitting .220/.314/.463 with 15 home runs, 32 RBI and four steals in 246 at-bats. There's a lot of swing and miss to his game, but Haniger's power potential when healthy makes him worth the stash for the final month of the season.
