Miles Sanders Gains 78 Yards On Low Touch Total
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders gained 78 yards on nine carries and scored once during the team's 35-13 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nine touches were the lowest total of the season for the 25-year-old, but he still finished with a double-digit fantasy performance due to his season-high 8.7 yards per carry total. Philadelphia elected to exploit the poor pass coverage of Pittsburgh rather than run the ball at a high rate, effectively keeping Sanders out of the game until the second half. It is nice to see the fourth-year back can still have a productive fantasy performance, even if he is held to a low touch total. Sanders will go on the road to face the Houston Texans this Thursday night, who are currently giving up the most fantasy points per game to the running back position. Sanders should be considered a high-end RB2 in Week 9.
