Miles Sanders Draws A Positive Week 8 Matchup
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders will face the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. The 25-year-old scored his fourth touchdown of the season in Week 6 against a stiff Dallas defense and now draws a favorable matchup against Pittsburgh. The Steelers allow the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the running back position, giving up an average of 99.4 yards per game on the ground. With the combo of Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott seeing minimal usage, Sanders should see plenty of work in Week 8. If Philadelphia finds themselves with a sizable lead coming out of the half, the fourth-year back could chew the clock and gain a ton of yardage in the final 30 minutes. Sanders is a safe RB2 this week with the potential to finish in the top 12 if he hits paydirt. Start him with confidence this week.
