Miles Mikolas Takes a Loss Despite a Quality Start
5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas picked up a quality start on Saturday but ended up with the loss. He tossed six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out four, allowed a home run, and threw 91 pitches. Mikolas actually got through six scoreless innings, but the Cardinals sent him back out for the seventh and the Reds scored three runs. His record drops to 6-10 and his ERA moves to 4.17.
