Miles Mikolas Returns With Five Solid Innings
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas (shoulder) returned from the injured list to make Friday's start and pitched well. He went five innings, allowing two runs (zero earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out five. Mikolas had only pitched in one game this season and spent most of the time dealing with shoulder and forearm injuries, but he seemed healthy in this one, throwing 84 pitches before departing. As long as he stays healthy, Mikolas should remain in the Cardinals rotation and should provide fantasy value in deeper leagues.
