Miles Mikolas Ejected From Thursday's Game
                
        
        St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Miles  Mikolas was ejected from Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs. He threw at Cubs outfielder Ian  Happ after Happ hit catcher Willson  Contreras in the head with a backswing. Mikolas beaned Happ during the next pitch and was ultimately tossed from the game. The 34-year-old threw 14 pitches, allowing one run while striking out one across 2/3 of an inning before being ejected. He owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts across 127 1/3 innings. Mikolas is tentatively scheduled to face the Twins in a home start on Wednesday.
