Miles Bridges Shoots Poorly In Summer League Debut
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets rookie small forward Miles Bridges couldn't find his shooting touch in Friday's Summer League win over the Thunder. In 27 minutes, Bridges scored six points on 2-for-14 shooting. Bridges did add in 10 rebounds, including five on the offensive end, and he blocked a pair of shots. That Bridges was able to contribute without his shot falling is an encouraging sign for the Hornets, who haven't gotten the production out of the small forward position that they expected they would when they drafted Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in 2012. If Bridges can start knocking down threes at something close to the 37.5 percent mark he hit in his two years at Michigan State, he could find some early success in Charlotte.
