10 months agoAccording to Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer, impending free agent Miles Bridges isn't expected to give the Charlotte Hornets a "hometown" discount. While Bridges has stated he wants to remain in Charlotte, Boone indicated the veteran would sign with the team "who offers the most money," with the Pistons one of the likeliest suitors because of cap space. He didn't play in 2022-23. However, the 26-year-old returned for the 2023-24 campaign and averaged career-highs in points (21.0) and rebounds (7.3). Nonetheless, wherever Bridges lands this offseason, he should remain a top fantasy producer.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (illness) is listed as probable heading into Thursday's encounter with the Knicks. He didn't suit up for Tuesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. DaQuan Jeffries entered the starting lineup, amassing a team-high (tied) 19 points with five boards and two blocks. But with Bridges and LaMelo Ball (wrist) expected to get back on the floor, Jeffries will be tough to trust in any fantasy setup.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (rest) will not be in action on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. He will sit out the game for rest purposes. It's a busy week for the Hornets, who begin a stretch of four games in six days Tuesday night. Nick Smith Jr. may return to the first unit against Atlanta, while Wendell Moore Jr. and Marcus Garrett (back) are also options to start in place of Bridges. Additionally, LaMelo Ball (wrist) and Mark Williams are expected to get more offensive touches.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (illness) will play in Monday's contest against the Golden State Warriors. The team has upgraded his status from probable to available. Bridges has been fighting an illness that may impact his performance on Monday, but he remains an appealing fantasy option. After a highly productive February, Bridges started March with an 18-7-7 line in Saturday's 113-100 loss to the Washington Wizards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 months agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (back) will rejoin the action on Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans. The 26-year-old is dealing with a back issue and didn't play on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. Bridges is enjoying a strong month, having notched 20-plus points in six of eight games. He is in a great position to add to the streak on Saturday, as New Orleans has the third-worst defensive rating in the league. Bridges will reclaim his starting position from Cody Martin (core), who is unavailable on Saturday. Josh Okogie will log fewer minutes due to Bridges' return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
