10 months agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev suffered a serious leg injury in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Rangers. Playing in his first game since Dec. 19, Sergachev hurt his left leg with seven minutes played in the second period. He had to be stretchered off the ice, and Sergachev appeared to be in tears as he exited the game. The full severity of the injury isn't yet known, but it looked bad, and unfortunately, it seems like Sergachev is facing another lengthy absence. He has been limited to 34 outings this season, registering 19 points (two goals, 17 assists).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
